Claiborne and Golden (starting ILB /OLB and NG)get kicked off several for a crime in May (aggravated robbery).
Fast forward to early this week Stansbury (starting SDE) gets kicked off for unnamed reasons unrelated to his earlier arrest in the summer (fight in Houston).
There is an incorrect perception among SOME alumni that A&M hasn't figured out how to recruit classy people from Louisiana.
Earlier this week at the apartment where A&M freshmen football players live, some generic description of two black kids robbed someone at gunpoint. A&M (TexAgs and 247) alumni are already in partial meltdown mode over another year of having to start 18 year olds in the front 7 on defense. Some in the media that covers A&M football like to racially profile and tweet any crime that happens in Bryan / CS.
I personally think someone is connecting the dots on Speedy unfairly because he was friends with Golden and Claiborne and b/c he fits the size and race description. It sounds like there are non-athlete suspects, but time will tell.
