Surely Hamas is getting some kind of tangible benefit for the deaths of what they claim are their own people, or they wouldn't keep facilitating it every so often.
And I am not anti-Israel, I believe they have to be hard-assess when everyone around them wants them annihilated. Just trying to get some insight into the whole situation.

Israel can simply make a deal with the PA and ignore Hamas since Gaza has no solution at the moment.

And I suppose I can be a little more honest now at this point of the thread; my original intent was to call into question the assertion stating the high civilian death toll is due entirely to using them as human shields.
I would expect these organizations to actually get something out of causing deaths of their own if they're going to go down that route. However, the possibility they do it just to maintain power and fight the evil Israelis is viable. Just wonder how the Palestinians don't notice it if everyone else seems to.

Hamas still has the mission statement of the total destruction of Israel, and Hamas has been been voted in to lead the Palestinian government, hence Palestine is for the destuction of Israel.
Afghanistan was allowing Al Qaeda a base and we went to war with them.
If the U.S. elected a party that was a terrorist organization to lead us, we would be a terrorist state.
The ignorance is bewildering.

You criticize Israels defense tactics, but don't mention anything about Hamas using children as shields when even the liberal press acknowledges this is happening. Hamas tactic's are very open. Capture the anti-Semite hate and add those that are easily persuaded and don't read past the front page.
For the record every person killed in Gaza is a civilian . That's what they say. So spread that BS around.
