Why no Garden District? I see your map stops at Louisiana, Coliseum and Chestnut have some really nice houses out all the way to Jackson.

I agree with your map otherwise. I live in that area (Touro) and love it.

Holly Grove is a hot area. Lots of great affordable housing.

That area has been coming on strong for 10 years now.
If the OP can afford it, this is where I suggest.

If you are older and want a house, there is a huge area called lakeview, the lakefront, lake vista that is very good.

For you haters, N.O. is booming btw. They can't build enough condos and apartments to keep up with demand.
