I don't really understand the reason these people do this. I mean what do they get out of it? Is this some national pride thing? Do they get massive quantities of arse doing this?

I kind of think that if you get caught faking that you are a member of the military you should be immediately enlisted and sent to boot camp.

Trying to pass yourself off as a war hero is an asswhippable offense.

I am not millitary, but I do find that extremely offensive. that jarhead should have beat the shite out of that dumbass. Wearing those medals was a slap in the face to those who have earned them.

Strange. I joined in the 90's and coins were pretty common. They gave them out for all kinds of things. Some of them are pretty cool. I have a couple that are poker chips, one shaped like the 2ID indianhead patch. They're like COA's but no one wanted to do the paperwork.
