Well, Tim Russert was the Chief of Staff to Dem Senator Daniel Moynihan.
George Stephanopolis, not only worked in White House as press sec and senior advisor, he has a significant role on the 92 campaign. It would be very similar to Karl Rove hosting GMA and Sunday morning show.
So, partisan only means republican.

THIS! This is exactly what I tell people who question liberal bias in the media. No way Rove would ever host a network Sunday morning show, but Stephanopolis is there. Gregory treated Bush shabbily for 8 years, yet there he is. No wonder the ratings are tanking.

And Chuck Todd, who has been discussed for the MTP seat before, worked for Tom Harkin, a liberal Democratic Senator from Iowa.
