Evolutionists assemble here

See,by reading this thread title, I was under the notion that this is where educated and "evolved" posters would come to discuss science and facts, and scoff at those who believed in a book of fairy tales

The biggest myth about macroevolution is that species change to adapt to their surroundings.

They don't.

Individuals deviate at random. These attributes are genetic, and if they happen to provide an advantage or disadvantage, over long generations they will have a better or worse chance at propagation.

It's really not that difficult a concept, but it eludes many people for some reason.

IRL, I have bones growing out of multiple joints that I need to have removed. Is that proof of evolution if the rest of humanity isn't joining me in this painful fun?

And taking into account modern technology and the ease in which we live, barring some insane event humans probably are about evolved out I'd reckon

Now that I'm fully grown, it doesn't hurt as much as it once did. More the fact that they frick with my joint movement and what they should have grown to without the disease. Childhood was a bitch and a half though.

It doesn't.

Nor was ever claimed to.

In fact, if this was the case, evolution would be impossible as described

Next thread?

This is either:
1.) An attempt at trolling
2.) You are fricking retarded
3.) You've never actually read anything about evolution.

But to entertain the troll:

Even given that assumption of yours, why would you expect them to in the context of evolution?

People who believe in the theory of evolution do not refer to themselves as evolutionists.

It's a scientific theory. I believe in M-theory too, but I don't run around calling myself an M-theorist.

Well that is just dumb... Hijack

I read a pretty interesting article about how mankind is driving itself to extinction. We have basically eliminated natural through modern medicine and libertarian rules. It was a great read and made some good points. What says the OT?

I could see an argument for liberal rules...not libertarian.
