I'm not going to haul a big tv out and hang it over a fireplace when I want to watch it

i have a 50" LED and its light enough to bring in and out easily. because of the ingenius 'shower curtain hanger' IKEA mount, it takes probably 1-2 minutes MAX to unplug it upstairs, remove the stand..walk downstairs and hang it up outside.

two things that make this solution really easy:

1. the little gray IKEA mounts look like little spools of thread and are screwed in permanently whether the tv is upstairs or outside.

2. i have a chromecast plugged into the back of the tv like a usb stick so i don't have to worry about anything but power when i bring the tv outside and use my phone to control it.

i know everyone's setup is different but this way i never have to worry about the wear & tear on the tv or weatherproofing it and while i didn't want a tv in my bedroom, its kinda nice having it in there..if for no other reason than listening to music.
