Could mean anything.

Place is awesome for lunch and the espresso is killer.

I'd be surprised if it closed. It's always got people

Any chance panera opening changed their long term plans?
Sucks regardless, always thought they did a good job.

Yes, I started to post this earlier. I went by around 2pm and all the doors and windows were papered over. :(

Luca posted on his personal FB acct that his father passed and he had to leave to tend to everything. Was looking for a dog sitter too while gone. If they aren't opened by end if next week, something else is up as he should be back after the weekend.

Do you guys remember when Extreme Pita was "closed forever" and everyone lost their shite? It was open the next day. Everybody CALM DOWN.

That porchetta sammich was one of the best in town!

Wish the bread was a little softer though...

This is terrible news. Luca and Marcus are two awesome people who deserve all the success in the world. Hopefully this turns out to be only rumor...

Actually looks like this is legit :( sources close to owners saying so ..

That makes me sad.

The was one of my top lunch spots.. Especially while solo.

Luca's dad died?!

I can't think of his first name right now, but I loved visiting with him when we bought gelato at the first location on Highland Rd.

I can guarantee, 100% it's closed.
I can't give out the details, but one of his best guys is working with me this week, and they all got their last paychecks Monday at noon.
Luca's father did pass away, but there are literally 15 things that were pretty much dropped in his lap all at once, that would make any owner want to literally throw up and go home for good.
A few offers have already been submitted to buy the place, so it shouldn't be closed for good very long. (fingers crossed)

Now it is officially closed, as of late last week. Probably a proactive move because once they start construction on Essen it would be even more of a clusterfrick to get in and out of there.

Extreme Pita told me the corporate company in Canada was very difficult to work with and provided no help. I had heard that for a few years.

As Jambo said, if that place is gone the space won't take long to fill. It's prime real estate.
