He said 99% of autistic kids are just spoiled brats faking their symptoms because they have pussies for fathers who refuse to discipline them. A couple days later he accosted the mother of an autistic child who called in and told her something like "Your kid is a failure because of you".

The thing is, austism is over-diagnosed. There is a modicum of truth somewhere in that, it's not 99%, not even the majority. But that kind of hyperbole just ruins it for people on both sides of the debate.

Savage is a left coast fruit loop,, he's right about a lot of things and knows a little bit, but to say he has a finger on the pulse of the grass roots tea party.. I don't know about that.
I don't dislike the guy, much like Anthony Cumia he has the ability to spit out more raw truth than the public at large is willing to hear. He's probably wrong on the percentages but he's right about a lot of "autistic" kids just being the low IQ product of parents who don't want to accept that their genes produced that child.
