Gingrich would've been solid.

I thought Christie would've been a good candidate, but it turns out he's a Democrat.

I think Rand Paul is the best bet for 2016.

I think we need more than the National Guard. Pull our troops out of the sanbox and put them on the southern border.

If we had no government funded social programs I would say throw the gates wide open and let anyone who wishes to come enter short of those who wish to do us harm.

This. I fully support the immigration of anyone who wishes to come as long as they are willing to work or otherwise contribute positively to society. Before we deported those types of immigrants I would support the deportation of so-called "Americans" who have no desire to work or contribute in a positive manner.

Romney should be President today. I say correct that error in 2016.

Bring our troops home from South Korea and the Marines from Okinawa , that should be over 40, 000.
Them, plus the Guard, should do the trick.

He is probably the least terrible out of that list. I'll give you that.

But he's not even close to either Romney or McCain in terms of elect-ability.

I would prefer Michelle Bachman to Donald Trump. Seriously.

Good optics.

I'm telling you: this is your 2016 GOP nominee for president.
This.

Presidential posturing, that's all it is. The sheople will cheer wildly and nothing will change, other than the "need" for additional funding.

someone has to be the tallest midget. Donald trump would have been sliced and diced, probably losing more than mccain did. He is just a soundbite.

Just upped his Presidential stock by about 50%.

It's gotta happen; before any 'bait and switch' Immigration *Reform*. Nothing will fly until that border is locked. Fool us once...twice...that's it!

And I willing to go for a tamperproof national ID, so we can handle this voting thing once and for all.

The reason that it is such an issue now is because of the number of readily available social programs that cost the tax payer money.

Which of those is Obama responsible for that weren't there before he took office? Don't say Obamacare because the border states did not expand their Medicaid programs.

It's about time

So we should use millions of our state's dollars to do the job of protecting the entire country?
I'm behind Perry 100%--and if the Feds won't take care of the problem, Texas will take care of itself.
But to imply that Perry has somehow dragged his feet on this issue is disingenuous.
