Brandon is not a similar player. Herb was built and used like a running back. Brandon won't last if used the same way. Brandon is going to be a pocket passer with escapability.

Based upon what? His HS performance? It's a much different ballgame in the SEC as opposed to Friday nights in North Louisiana

Look, I hope the guy turns out to be the best QB in LSU history. However, it's a bit ridiculous that some have already anointed him as a surefire great player. It's also unfair to put that kind of expectations on a Freshman who has NEVER taken a snap in an actual college football game (let alone a SEC game)

They won't dink and dunk the ball all year, maybe to start the first third of the season. IMO though, we need to take the gloves off the crappy competition early. Wisconsin we will have a strategy to dink and dunk because of the inexperience in the front 7, but after that (at least until Auburn) we need to air it out against the small fries.
