The LSU loss easily. The other one wasn't a NC game, and Nebraska was routinely getting beat in big bowl games back then. That 92 game would've been Miami - Washington under the bcs.

A better question would be more embarrassing out of 21-0 and the whupping Miami got from Bama in the 93 Sugar. Given that Miami was going for back to back, had the Heisman winner and a bunch of NFL dudes, and they were at their shot talking height, that was pretty damn humbling. Lotta greatest ever talk about that team. Nobody saw that beating coming.

My vote prob still goes to LSU. You can't get shut the frick out in THE game.

That's a game I will never ever forgive Les Miles for. He could've been the coach of a top 5 GOAT college team and forever immortalized in football glory. But no, he had to shite the bed and diddle around on the sideline like it's a cupcake game in September against North Texas or some shite like that. Hell, he didn't even give Jarrett Lee a shot to try and get sonething going when it was clear we weren't going anywhere with Jordan fricking Jefferson.

THIS!! I don't care if Miles wins ten titles the rest of his career at LSU. 1-9-12 was a complete embarrassment to that team and the fans. There was no effort from that coaching staff to make adjustments in that game. Bama worked their asses off after the November loss at home to make sure it did not occur again. LSU seemed to be going through the motions on the largest stage of the season. The first 12 games didn't matter that season after the BCS loss.

I think this debate about the 2011 season is unfortunate. Two of the ten best teams ever will never get the respect they deserve because they played each other. I really think both schools fielded their best team in the same season.

That seems pretty silly to me. I think SEC championships are pretty special.

12 BCSCG is by far the most embarrassing.

1992 Miami was a powerhouse #1 and Nebraska was there because they were the Big 8 Champion and had the tie-in.

2012 LSU was the clear #1 at the time of the game and ignoring 9-6 (which the BCS did by putting Bama in that game) the teams were much more evenly matched.

frick that game

They were number two ahead of OKST before the final rankings came out, and it wouldn't have been fair to suddenly change your mind and put OKST above Bama just to prevent a rematch. The voters voted Bama into the national title game.LSU just happened to be the opponent.

Bama just happened to get lucky. LSU earned it's ticket to the big game by beating Bama, and thrashing UGA, while Bama was watching at home.

Thank god he didn't. Would have likely been worse

Not sure how it could have got worse. If you are going to lose by 21 and get shut out why not go all in? There is no consolation prize for just losing by 21. The writing was on the wall, JJ couldn't do anything in the SEC champ game either. Honey Badger and the defense won that game. I think he had like 15 yards total in the first half of that game.

Defense was sick in that game, we were still in it till the touchdown in the 4th.

The BCSNCG since NU had FBI suspended, was at Miami's home field, and Miami was expected to win.

1-9-12 was pretty bad, but so was the Clemson defeat in the chicken bowl. That was appalling.

Too be fair it wasn't for the NC and there were so many guys that knew it was their last game and they played like they didn't even want to be there. You could tell the team was flat. The NC game the team was not flat, just manhandled.

We didn't cross the 50 until the 4th but we were going to score 3 times?

1996 Fiesta Bowl was more embarrassing than the '92 OB. 1 vs 2 and Nebraska could have scored 80 pts. It was an epic arse whipping....
