Yep.

It is my understanding that Spring (spawn) is the time for crappie because they ramp up feeding pre-spawn and then protect their eggs. Their spawn is triggered by amount of daylight. We are waaay past spawn now so you are just trying to catch another fish at this point. I believe they are only going to be deep now... 5 feet or more.
