Coming back from 24-6 to force overtime was pretty good coaching. He shut LSU down to 7 points in the second half.
Speaking of talent, Davie, Reed, James, Toefield, Davis, T. Falk, Clark, et. al. weren't exactly chopped liver.

Yep. The Crowd noise was a different level back then and it was constant. One the best games I ever saw in person along with miss st game, Florida of course, and Auburn even though we lost.

I forget sometimes how tough Rohan was. Hurt, guys hanging off him, still fighting...a great Tiger.

Was one of my favorite games. I forgot that the UAB loss was the week before. Great game for Rohan and Reed, that was a turning point for the program.

just watched the whole game...wow. i was 6-7 yrs old and remember the game vividly. Have been a die hard tiger ever since.

We still got plowed by UF the next week. Bryant leaving UA and Spurrier leaving UF should be an annual SEC day of celebration.

Rohan was a beast! I forgot how well he played through that injury- definitely one of my favorite Tigers
