Texas might have a bigger screen but that end zone seating looks like a division 2 stadium at best. Will take TS over that sh*t any day.

lol you didn't even post LSU's current scoreboard.

I really couldn't care any less about having a scoreboard you can see from space. That shite is so overrated.

I agree the sign is way too small for the size of our stadium, these sponsors would not care if they were in other parts of the stadium.
The screen is sad

bullshite. Phtoshopped. Only LSU dares to take advertising money.

There's a point where the bigger size becomes a novelty.

Only thing I care about the scoreboard at this point is that we have more points on our side than the other team.

I saw a guy who was visiting different stadiums post about Jerry's World (AT&T stadium) in Arlington. It has the 4th largest HD screen which hangs from 20 yard line to 20 yard line.

The guy said he would never go back because you can't stop watching the screen and if he is going to stare at a TV he will just stay at his house and watch it on his screen. If you watch a game the players, coaches, cheerleaders and everyone in the stands constantly watch the huge TV and not the field.

You can have a great environment at a stadium and not have huge Tv(s) for everyone to stare at the whole game.

Absolutely agree. Especially now that we'll have two more screens in the SEZ.

Exactly how I felt for the Oregon game and we were fortunate to have some pretty good seats. For me, it was a huge distraction from the game.

The screen is big enough if it weren't for all of the ads

The scoreboard dont have to be pretty. It just needs to show Our team beating the crap outta the other team. If you go to the game to look at the damn screen stay home and watch it on your TV. More money can be spent else where. The scoreboard doesnt help you beat an opponent.

Ah, so they're going to move the "permanent" ads off of the video screen and onto the mesh covering the speakers? Or is it that there will be "permanent" ads on the mesh, permanent ads on those side screens and then ads on the sides of the main screen as well?

Screen is too small and full of ads, yes but it does the job for replays. They just expanded it so they ain't changing it anytime soon. Plus new screens will be a huge improvement for most.

West facade is out of place with the traditional look of TS but it's new and they ain't changing it anytime soon so that's that.

Spend the money on the inside of the stadium. It's functional but decades dated. First thing I hear when I bring someone
having never been before is how bad it looks. I grew up with it so I'm used to it but I am low maintenance. I go to watch live football and not much else.
