I kinda agree with this as well. Most of the patients I see in their 70s that are still working look and act much younger than their retired counterparts. Now this could be a chicken vs egg scenario dealing with why they are more vibrant/still working but I tend to think it's because they have yet to truly go into the end of life mode that others seem to once they retire(all personal observation from years working with afults) . Hell I'd much rather have more time off when I'm younger, stronger, and able to do all the physically demanding activities I'd like to do. You'd also get more time with your kids as they grow. The idea of the 65-70 retirement after working 40 hr weeks to Kay around and do geriatric things isn't appealing at all to me.
