I fricking hate paypal. Tried to set up a new email address since I had so much problems last time, and they're giving me the same shite as last time. Supposedly they're gonna verify my bank account in the next couple days and I'll try to send you the money. If not, I'll be mailing it again.

You actually can do one time payments with paypal using a credit/debit card. There may be a small fee of like 1.50 or so. It's some percentage that I can't remember. Try this link below and follow the instructions. It should work fine.

I'm trying to add money to my paypal account thru either method (CC or bank account).
It's not letting me add money at this time, but I'll give it another try this evening. I've never had issues with it before.

don't do it that way. Do you have a cc or bank acct associated with a PayPal acct already? If so, just click send money. Once there it will give you option to use cc or bank. I recommend using cc if possible so that it goes through instantly and there is no wait period. You don't have to add money to acct to send it.

I should add that even if you don't already have a cc or bank acct associated with paypal, you can still send money (see link in my post above to NGT). All you have to do is click Send money on the paypal website. Then you enter amount and email to which you are sending (check sending money to family or friends if you see that option) and then complete the cc information, click send and you're done. The payment immediately goes to the email you sent it to and you didn't even have to make an account (although you might feel like you making one when you are putting in the info).
It's not really an official paypal account I don't think. It's just a record that you used paypal. Using the pay once option is perfectly fine and although they make you think you are creating an official account with the information you provide, I don't think it's the real deal.
You have to intentionally make an account using the create account button and then associate cards and accounts and then go through the verification process where they take out some random amount that you have to verify. This is the difference between the two.
I'm guessing paypal will remember you though if you make another payment in a similar fashion later on down the road. I think it's just a matter of having a record of the transaction for people who don't want a paypal account.

When does your school loan check get in? I remember those days. Wasn't it last year when you were waiting for that deposit to turn in your fee? Nothing like gambling with school loan money. In med school, when our checks hit the bank we immediately (literally the same day we all got our money deposited) made a road trip to the Beau Rivage in Biloxi. No one even questioned what that night's activities were to be. The only thing left to discuss was who was driving and when we were leaving.
