Did anyone else have to Google George Brett to see who he was?

Same level as George Brett.

Besler would have to find the cure for cancer while simultaneously scoring the World Cup winning goal to be as loved as George Brett in Kansas City.

As long as they pay the man I'm fine with Besler staying in KC. He just needs Omar type money.

Your lack of sports knowledge is astounding.

I'm sorry that I don't give a shite about baseball. If they aren't an all-time great like Babe Ruth or played in the 90s, then chances are I don't know who they are.

The name sounded like George Best so I figured he was another soccer player.

He played in the 90's and was all over TV during the 90's and early 2000's

His pinetare incident is one of his claims to fame.

The Royals are outdrawing SKC 22k-20k

But that's around 60% capacity for the royals and around 100% capacity for SKC.

If Sunderland and Fulham are his two options who can really blame him?

Besler just Tweeted:

"1) Don't believe everything you read on the internet. 2) Currently, I'm under contract with Sporting KC. And 3)...

3) Most importantly, we have a huge game tomm. Can't wait to play in front of the home fans!! #3points"

Definitely doesn't seem like this is over.

He tweeted that because Dom Dwyer tweeted a picture of Besler getting stretched by a trainer and said "Exit physical"

Regardless, it's the No. 2 that would have me concerned if I was a SKC fan. "Currently, I'm under contract" is not the same as "I want to remain in KC long-term" or "I'm committed to KC and have no intentions of playing elsewhere" (especially using the word "currently"). He might end up staying, but at the least, it means he's mulling his options and he hasn't decided yet.
