I looked all over for a head to head with the 15 f250 but found dick. Can't open your link yet but is that what you found? The new powerstroke has 100tq on the dmax and a real trans, unlike the ram.

This is the new one I was referring to but under further evaluation it is slanted to the Ford. Different axel ratios and doesn't say what models they are using.

LINK

Either way I am still going GM with the Alley. Tired and true reliable and will pull anything a Ford can.

Cummins with the Allison

That's what's in all the diesel pushers.

Damn good combo, IMO.

Not legally.

26,700#s for the F350
31,200#s for the F450

That's a real motor and transmission.

Not sure where your getting your #s from.

Ill just put this here LINK

Unless DodgeRam has really improved the NVH of their truck and tamed that loud-arse Cummins, I'll pass.

The Ford does 99% of what the Cummins does, but it's about 1000% smoother and quieter.

I got my numbers from ford's website. Not the competition or a biased website that uses old, out of date information. Where do you get yours?

Outdated information. Gotcha. Make sure to keep finding articles that don't include the newest motors and technology.

I want to add, you do realize that article was written in 2013, right? Ford's new numbers were released a few months ago. This is comical.

I'm just messing around at this point. I can't wait to see what the new Duramax is going to be like. I hope it's a monster because I'll either buy it or the Powerstroke.

I've found a bunch of 2012 and 13 3/4 GM trucks with as engines and decent mileage.

Likely someone that wanted a 3/4 ton and got tired of paying for gas and traded in for a 1/2 ton

Depending on the mileage you may have to change out the front end suspension and what not but nothing to drastic. Ball joint, TRE and such. Besides that you should be good to go.

What you planning on using it for? Farm truck?

There are some great deals out right now but Mrs ICS and myself decided to keep the, F150 and just get a 5th wheel that it can drag. If we use it as much as we think, we will upgrade down the road.

Green, why are you still talking? Stop being childish and act like a man.
