True, simply because we NEED at least one of the frosh WR's to have an 800 yard season.

it goes deeper than Harris. Expect some true freshmen starts at WR and RB (at least) as well this year

Quinn, Dupre, Harris, and Fournette will all play significant minutes in the 1st game. You be the judge based on that...

We must have production from both freshman RBs, at least one WR to have a successful offense.

I expected Harris to play a lot, but i dont think there would be a huge difference in production between he and AJ. Maybe a better 3rd down conversion rate.

If we had no true freshmen, Magee and Hilliard would be worn out by game 4.

Of course. But to say it would rely HEAVILY on true freshman is dependent on qb. If AJ starts, it is possible that true freshmen only get spot starts throughout the season. I expect LF to be starting and that could change the game.

But I believe the strength of our offense will be our oline. And the biggest factor will be our QB. If AJ starts, we have zero freshmen in those groups.

McGee

IT'S NOT frickING "MCGEE"

How hard is it to spell his last name right? It's literally one letter different and no one EVER pronounces it "Mick Gee" they always say "Mah Gee"

Almost as bad as everyone pronouncing Josh Boutte's last name as "Booty"

RAGE: [OFF]

This season = Yes

we've lost so much talent early the last several years. we only have 5 returning starters on O. Luckily, our OL is solid with a new coach.

Our offensive production relies heavily on our offensive line.

That's just simply not true.

This is a dumb comment. He said true freshman. Quantavious Leslie, Travin Dural, Avery Peterson and Kevin Spears are all older than that.

We could have a no true freshman even come CLOSE to 800 yards receiving and be great on offense.

It's not like it is unheard of to only use 2 running backs. It may be unheard of for LSU, but its not impossible.

In 2012, we had a national championship contender offense and we didn't have one WR at 800 yards receiving. Odell was closest at 713 and Jarvis wasn't even close at 573. And that was their sophomore year, not freshman year.

The best WR tandem in LSU football history couldn't do it as sophomores in the system as the #1 and #2 options.

Don't think it's vitally crucial for an incoming freshman to do it. Plus, Dural is our best WR anyway.

We are LSU. Our game is to punch you in the mouth and run it up the gut. I don't think that is changing for a while.
