I remember some guy came onto this board a while back and said he was at Peter's high school wearing an LSU hat and he told him he was committing to LSU soon.

Wasn't me, but that's what I've heard from his High School Alumni, that are big state fans. I hunt with them in KS, and never heard of the guy last Dec, and they were pissed that he was coming to LSU. I then checked him out, and there was some stuff about LSU being his favorite. No doubt he's a great prospect, and he likes LSU. I really don't think he's a big deal, with what LSU brings in at DB, but he is fast(need a good weight program, though). Kid seems to swing with the wind, so LSU needs to keep recruiting him, and if State destructs this year, he'll shift with the wind IMO.

He's got supreme size and speed that is God-given and can't be taught. I'm a big Jamal Peters fan.

Me too, and I'd love to have him, and he will bulk up and be a beast. This was the last pic I saw of him, and he did look thin, somewhat.

As for Peters, definite take. LSU is good with S for now, but skipping years can hurt too. Would be very nice to get one on that level every year. But... they'll stay on him; hope for the best.

I'd really like to see us make up ground on Lewis too. I just don't see it happening. It does help knowing we're in a good spot with Keion Joyner for the next class though.

so what this says is there are no for sure LSU locks. Guess we learned that last year. The guy above me in this thread got me banned for even questioning these so called locks but

I'm failing to see where he was called a lock. Fyi, never seen anyone get banned by someone else, most folks don't need help with that, they do it in their own

Was at Big Dawg camp last night visiting with my son a 6ft 4 cornerback out of mobile,ala and Jamal was dominant in one on one's never seen a kid that big that can move like that an BTW Johnathan Banks was there coaching him up an that pretty much sealed the deal.

Hmmm? So, he says Bama leads then commits to MSU? Sounds like he really wants a serious LSU offer.
