I'd take Love in a heartbeat, but how much of a loss of production will he have on the Cavs team with two other scorers?

I think Andrew Wiggins is going to be great. The problem is Kevin Love already is great.

No argument there. I guess I just want to see how great Wiggins can be.

So what you're saying is that no matter what the Wolves are fricked.

Than why would I trade him just to get meaningless pieces back in return?

Why don't I wait and see if the Cavaliers blink?

You want me to tell my fanbase that I traded our franchise player for Anthony Bennett?

I'd rather for Love's FA year and do a S&T and get two meaningless draft picks than take on Waiters and Bennett.

I would have no problems trading Wiggins for love.

You have Lebron, one of the NBA's all time greatest players, in his prime. I'm not wasting any of those years on the potential of a one and done unfinished product like Wiggins. Maybe he will be really good, but maybe he will be a bust.

The Cavs aren't preparing for 3-4 years from now. They have Lebron right now and are trying to win right now.

Kevin Love is a superstar in his prime and has a skill set that fits perfectly with Lebron's. Two superstars in their prime > one superstar and a 19 year old with potential.

I wouldn't gut the roster, but for Wiggins, Bennett and a 1st? Mr. Love come on down!

Irving and LeBron will gobble up $43M, but the cap will likely be north of $68M for 2015-2016

You add Wiggins and 8 cap holds and you're at $52m. With just those 3 guys they already don't have enough to offer him a max unless it is a sign and trade.

Well the Cavs have 2 2015 1st round draft picks they can work with in a trade plus Bennett, Thompson, Waiters, and a 2017 1st round draft pick. That is probably better than anything else anyone can offer that would still have a team intact to keep Love.

I don't think they should have to give up Wiggins to make the best offer.

Golden State offer and the Boston offer are pretty damn similar.

Also it makes more sense for Minnesota to not make a competing Western Division team better.

A bunch of meh for a top-10 player.

They shouldn't. Cleveland is bargaining from a position of strength. I've never seen a situation where the malcontented player's team has the upper hand. They aren't going to get equal value for Love. It never happens.

In the end, Minnesota will take what they can get. And teams are going to be gunshy about trading for a guy that hasn't committed to re-sign the next year. Only team he's mentioned he'll re-sign with is Cleveland. That undermines Minnesota's position. No need for Cleveland to panic.

I'd rather the nothing than take on Bennett and Waiters. No thanks. I'll just tank.

If Bennett comes out looking like a stud at the beginning of the season it would help their case.

He's a headache and a few years away from maturing to the point where he would be a valuable piece on a championship caliber team.

Cavs cant sign Love for a max deal in 2015....you cant have 3 max players anymore I thought? He would have to take less than the max to come to Cleveland

For a top-10 player
i will never understand the devotion to Kevin love. I like him. I think he has an interesting skill set as a stretch 4 and great rebounder. But he's bad defensively and he's never played in a freaking playoff game 6 years into his career. Blame the t-wolves front office, blame the western conference, but a top 10 player can elevate his team to an 8 seed once in 6 years.

I really think that love is the great white hype. People want so badly for him to be awesome so white fans can have a white superstar. And I'm white! I just don't care what color skin my NBA star has, as long as he's dominating.
