I saw this on FB this morning and shared it. Guests really don't understand the added pressure that is put on restaurants. At least the ones who have not worked in a restaurant before. Here's a small list:

1. Cell phones
2. Constantly looking to get free food pushing costs up
3. Constantly looking to sue thus pushing costs up
4. Special orders causing the kitchen to take longer and falsely believing that no one else does a special order.

I'm pretty quick on service, and rarely send food back. I'll pull a hair right out and keep on going.



I usually know what I want before I place my drink order.
But I like to read the menus so I have a habit of keeping it open until it's taken from me.
