shreveport times
A throng of almost 6 women stood outside Hobby Lobby protesting 'their oppression of women.'
My wife looked at the pics and said "They're ugly. Why would they need birth control?"

Someone please buy these women some knitting needles.
There is a reason why women are a target group of the democratic party.

I said the same thing when I've seen the pics from around the country.

So a private company not wanting to pay for your lifestyle is now subjugating women with different lifestyles?

I still haven't figured out what "right" they're being denied...

throng of almost 6
I didn't even know we had a Hobby Lobby up here. I always went to Michael's on Youree.
If I didn't have to study, I'd go get my kicks watching confused and irrelevant, likely single, women waste their time.

They cut the protest short due to the heat.

This woman is flipping them the bird, not showing her support.

They don't even work for Hobby Lobby. They're going to have to make a case in how this is directly affecting them and not a metaphorical argument either.

Sounds like something an a-hole would say. But i'm sure you don't have any problems then for guys with limp noodles paying for Viagra too then right?

That point didn’t sway William Dykes, a local attorney who shouted at protesters. He said he is not against birth control in general but is “against murder.”
“The American Medical Association has no ethical standing. I think the Bible has ethical standing,” he said.
“They’re a bunch of doctors, many of whom have political points of view,” he continued. Before he wandered away, Dykes added, “I hate ignorance.”

They're free to work/shop elsewhere if they are offended by Hobby Lobby's policies.

Whose "rights" were being denied because of the mandate? Remember, the owners of hobby lobby are the thousands of shareholders. How can thousands of people collectively have religious rights?

The rally was an awakening for Terra Slack, a 52-year-old New Orleans native who said it marked the first time in her life she felt called to political action. “It’s so important that we help our society move out of the Stone Age and stop subjugating women and people with different lifestyles.”
I'd suggest this woman watch an episode from the first season of "Mad Men". It may give her an appreciation of just how far our society has come re: it's treatment of women in the past 50 or so years.
