Is it flamboyant for fraternity people to flash their letters?

Sometimes I'll see people put greek letters on their Instagram and twitter bios. Also I'll see people put stickers on the back of their cars.

I say no. I may not understand the Greek life thing but if they're proud of it then let em have at it.

I'm not sure if flamboyant is the right word, but I remember that my fraternity didn't "put up with flair" when I was an active. No one had a license plate or sticker unlike those 5 foot 4 meatheads next door known as the Pikes. They're put their shitty and simply embarrassing logo all over their property.

any self respecting fraternity would prohibit members from participating in such common low brow garbage.

We only put our letters 7 places that are for the most part permanat. The tattoo on the ankle originates from the war between the states as a way to identiy a brother.

What's creepy is that 30 year old you'll meet that has the frat crap all over their car, office, and home.

Looking back at the whole Greek life, in the big picture of life, it means very little.

Once you're at least 2 years out of school, it's gay.

I've never heard a straight man say the word "flamboyant".

"Say Bill, don't you think that shirt's a little too flamboyant, especially for hunting season?"

OP is a Yalie, so there's that, I guess.
