Spray soybeans or go trout fishing?

Took me about as long to type this as it did to decide. Took my 14 yr old son on his first trout fishing trip this morning. When we got there I told him we first needed to figure out what they were feeding on. I turn around and his already fighting his first trout.
I figured out they were feeding on everything. Even Japanese beetles
These guys were waiting on a free lunch.
Ready for the grill.

I was kicking around a similar question earlier today...should I spray our sugarcane on Sat or go fishing with my pops?
Made the same decision as you, enjoy those moments my friend.

Where is that?
It is on the Elk river in Tennessee. The water is coming off of the bottom of Tims Ford Lake so it is extremely cold.
I almost forgot about this little guy. Smallest small jaw I have ever caught.

that actually may be within a reasonable drive of me here in MS....
how are the beans doing in bama this year?...we are a little late due to a bunch of rain in the spring, but they are coming along nicely...

Only early beans we have are irrigated so they look good. The wheat beans are about boot top high. Wheat harvest turned out great.
Here is the pass I had been looking for, the last one.

If you slow your rotor down, open the concave a little, and bump the fan speed up, you might can get a little more speed out of it. But, then again, when it's making 95, 3.4 doesn't seem so bad.

Speed + good yields don't go good with 40' heads.
