Sort of. Every year I make a big batch of brandied cherries that I use for the next year in cocktails. Its brandy, a bit of water, a cinnamon stick, some lemon and or orange zest, some sugar, maybe a clove, maybe allspice, maybe star anise. Bring to a boil, pour over cherries. Let steep.
