The only change I would make is to move Can back, and start Allen. Allen earned another start with his performance against Southampton.

Touche, I had forgotten about that. Still makes me nervous though.

Also, Concur with Meursault

ETA: Spelling correction...

I could get behind that for sure... I'll be curious to see what we throw out there on Thursday with the 1-0 agg score... I mean we don't need any goals, but would be nice to get one early and coast to the next round

I'm not necessarily advocating moving Can to the middle by the way, just pointing that out... Is Sakho suppose to be back?? I'd feel way more comfortable pushing Can up and slotting Lovren on the right, if so...

I haven't heard anything official yet, but I haven't heard that he'd be out a long time. I doubt he plays Thursday, but until we hear otherwise, no reason why he wouldn't play this weekend

that's awesome, but I totally get it, I had a routine and superstitions last season when we went on the win streak

Someone needs to make sure he's at every single game from here until May, whatever it takes

Coutinho, and Hendo not making the trip to Turkey. Can to play in the midfield.

Hmmm, so Can and Allen in the back with Sterling and Ibe up front?

Sakho must be playing on Thursday then, I guess it'll be Sakho, Skrtel, Lovren at the back

Could have Kolo on the right and Lovren on the left of the 3. Just a thought

I can't help but entertain the thought of having Ibe up top with Studge, with Sterling just behind. Then at the half, sub Sterling off for Balo, and move Ibe back a bit. I don't think BR will ever get THAT extravagant, but I'd love to see how we produce in that scenario.

I'm not sure I want to see Ibe as the guy up top... I think right now he's better suited to that wing back position we've had him in where he can attack the flanks.

I guess we could keep him at RWB and then have Sterling and Lallana as the two attacking mids.

I'm calling

Migs
Skrtel - Toure - Lovren
Ibe - Moreno
Allen - Can
Lallana
Studge - Sterling

I agree. Just saying it was an interesting thought. Eventually it would be nice to see what he can do up there, maybe against a relegation side or something. Next year.

It'd be nice to see him up top in an FA Cup match, damn those cup tie rules

Lovren scares the shite out of me. Pretty sure, despite not playing much lately he still leads the league in goal faults this season.

I want nothing more than for him to gain his confidence back but not sure if this away clash is the time for it.

Missing Hendo and Coutinho doesn't make that easy with no Lucas.

What happened to little Phil? Did he take knock?

I don't think he did... at least that I remember hearing. He has played a retarded amount of minutes lately, so he probably is just getting a well-needed rest.

I'm pretty sure Brendan came out and said they're just giving him a break. He's started something like 19 straight games, and Citeh looms on the horizon.

Everyone remember THAT game at the Ataturk in Istanbul...
