You don't need a car. I live in the area and don't cook so..

Pike Place/Belltown: Local 360, Le Pichet, Pink Door, Spur
Pioneer Square: Bar Sajor, , Metropolitan Grill, Salumi, Cafe Umbria
South Lake Union/Queen Anne: Canlis, Lunchbox Laboratory, Daniel's Broiler, Brave Horse Tavern.

These are all different price points. Almost all are walkable to you.

My favorite restaurant in Seattle is Eva. I've been there a dozen times, have trouble choosing because everything looks so good, and it's a great value.
