I am looking for food recommendations for Seattle. Haven't ever been, and will be in town for four nights and three days. I am staying within walking distance of Pike's Place, and wasn't planning on renting a car. But will cab if necessary.

TIA

You don't need a car. I live in the area and don't cook so..

Pike Place/Belltown: Local 360, Le Pichet, Pink Door, Spur
Pioneer Square: Bar Sajor, , Metropolitan Grill, Salumi, Cafe Umbria
South Lake Union/Queen Anne: Canlis, Lunchbox Laboratory, Daniel's Broiler, Brave Horse Tavern.

These are all different price points. Almost all are walkable to you.

Metropolitan grill is good, but very expensive for what you get. If you want to take a cab a little north of downtown the red mill burger is the best in town.

For breakfast, walk down early to Pikes Place and you can see them unloading all the fish/produce...then go to Lowell's for breakfast, great food and view.
