We have to go back to the double pivot. It's insane to me that we let Flamini have so much responsibility.

A more experienced player in the middle than Ox might have been able to adjust to what Liverpool were doing. We really needed someone to sit beside Flamini and handle those wingers cutting inside. Ox was caught in the middle so much between pressing the deep lying Gerrard and Lucas or tracking back. Either way, Wenger should have spotted it immediately and told him to sit deeper. Flamini was begging the center backs to push up and deal with it, but they were terrified of Sterling's pace
We really, really needed a dominant, composed man in the middle yesterday, and we didn't have it. Santi did well to drop deep and help us keep the ball. He's been on brilliant form of late.
