Memphis Depay has reportedly rejected PSV's new contract offer. Good news for Spurs.
Also, Alex Song is available for transfer, but more importantly free loan from Barca. I bet Levy loves the idea of being able to test him out before committing.

I was watching my recording of MOTD and the hosts were ripping into Eriksen and, especially, Lamela. They thought both have no positional awareness, are selfish, and are, in general, horrible players.

I'm not going to agree with that harsh of an assessment but I do believe we still lack a lot of creativity on offense.

MOTD = Match of the Day on NBC Sports Network. It's awesome. Show lots of highlights of each game and good analysis in between (usually). I think they are wrong about Eriksen. But Lamela might be somewhat selfish offensively. He was known as a ballstopper at Roma.

yes, they do have a MOTD on BBC. It was the model for the NBCS version.

I love Match of the Day though. It really is able to capture the feel of the games by showing more than just the goals.

Both will start on Sunday. Like I said earlier in the thread, Eriksen was gassed against West Ham. And Ade is still getting his fitness back up from the malaria. Soldado will definitely start tomorrow, and we will be ready for QPR. We are basically two deep with solid talent now. The only problem is we don't have obvious elite starters.
Paulinho is also with the team. Davies will start tomorrow. Vertonghen should also see his first action. Will be a game worth watching.

Lamela's Italian was actually ok. Argentines in general seem to have a pretty easy time picking up Italian when they arrive.

I doubt it will be that sweet for you guys. If Roma is selling Destro it's likely to generate cash for another target. .. Chiriches + cash would seem more likely though Soldado on a loan included isn't out of the realm of possibilities, I suppose though I don't like the sound of that.
The Roma mercato rumors are all the place and crazy right now because no one really has any idea what's happening with Benatia.
