Was Kaboul trying to injure the whole team? Great celebration though. This must be the best day of Eric Dier's life.

After killing myself all day trying not to look at the results so I could watch the game, I'm pumped! Being down a man for 30 minutes and still getting the win! COYS!!!!!

I just feel like this kind of happiness was very rare last year. We always seemed to be on the other end of this stuff.

When we got the red card, it seemed quite normal for us.

I know what you mean, I almost turned it off after the red. I was tempted just to go see how much we lost by and wait for next week, glad I didn't

Haha I just watched that replay with kaboul jumping and sitting on everyone and then walking away as they all collapse under his weight. I'm surprised there weren't some back injuries

Yea I think the exhaustion was due to a man down the 2nd half. Ready for Europa match thursday! Soldado, Davies, Holtby and Vorm should all see some action.

Just watched the match. I was getting ready to come on here to say that, given such a shitty red so early and a missed PK, we were lucky to get out of there with a point.

Then Eric Dier comes from nowhere and TOTALLY REDEEMS KABOUL'S LOUSY arse,!!

But, yeah, Kaboul looked like hot fricking garbage today. Townsend looked good when he came on. It's nice to have someone with that pace that can come off the bench. It's obvious that the red card took us out of what MP wants to do attack-wise. I'm looking forward to next week vs QPR to get a better idea of how we plan to setup offensively. Hopefully we can get Jan match fit by next week and have Naughton's red card rescinded.

I will say that, even prior to the goal, Dier had impressed me. Bentaleb still made a dumb mistake or 2.

Just finished watching the game and I got two words... HOLY shite!!!!

After the missed PK, I said to myself this would be a huge win for Poch if we could somehow pull it out. After 85', I said a draw is deserving. Then the Dier bomb

I was yelling like a little girl!

COYS

So I have some friends who follow the EPL and after getting excited about the WC I decided to pick a team and landed on Tottenham. Bought a Spurs hat and watched anxiously today. Crazy win. Dier is going to be a stud. Also, is Kaboul always that lazy? Dude nearly single handedly cost us (Lloris saved his arse a couple times IIRC).

If this was your first Spurs game

Today was more exciting than anything that happened last year!

I don't remember Kaboul being nearly as lazy a few seasons ago. But he struggled with lingering injuries last season. Today we was EXTREMELY lazy though. Pissed me off.

I didn't think he had a great game, but I don't understand all this bashing of him. He made a few errors, but I'm not ready to throw him under the bus yet.

I expect more from the team captain. He was careless with possession in the middle of the field and gave away possession multiple times. Also, he got outrun a few times as well. We were lucky that WHU didn't net a goal or 2 prior to their red.

I agree with this! I'm not saying he should be replaced, but he really needs to play better than he did yesterday.

Obviously not. I prefer Vertonghen. He just needs to get match fit. Then we can have him and Dier in the center with Kaboul on the bench.
