I don't think that has been determined yet. And at LSU under Chavis, the distinction is pretty minimal because the safeties are more or less interchangeable in his system. Both are asked to come up and stop the run at various times. We don't really have a safety position that just hangs back and plays pass every play.

In a battle for the two deep with Frank Herron and Marquedius Bain. The best of the class turned out to be Christian Lacouture, who did not redshirt last year (unlike the others).

Funny how that works out. Herron was a 5-star, the others 4-stars, and Lacouture the lone 3-star. Guess which one walked in and played last year?

Being the only early entry of the group helped LaCouture immensely. He got the proverbial head start. Now if he holds them off this year, then that's another story. This year will be a better evaluation of them.

dts, id go quinton thomas, christian lacouture, or frank herron. herron would prob be the 3rd in the rotation and has switched from de, but we have done that in the past with ego ferguson and michael brockers and it has worked.

No one knows yet, but based on his highschool play I would assume SS

FS: Mills (barring suspension)
SS: Martin

DT: Quentin Thomas and Lacouture. Bain will be our break out player at this spot though.

TE: Dillon Gordon will see the most PT. DeSean Smith is our pass catching TE and probably our 2nd best pass catcher on the team right now, behind Dural.
