Has Lebron's camp even made a peep?
Seems it's ESPN getting everyone in a tizzy. Media driven angst.

He's going to wait until all of the free agents take less money in the hopes that he joins their team, then retires and join the NBA front office.
His introductory press conference will be him laughing and saying "Enjoy the next five years playing below market value! Bitches."

LeBron has done absolutely nothing wrong through this entire process.

The King continues to draw out this process, fricking up NBA free agency as a whole
I don't care if he's announcing on Instagram instead of a national TV show with Jim Gray, but you'd think he would have learned his lesson. Nope, still craves the attention
Add this to reason No. 1699 why I don't like him
It's the last time he gets to choose the best situation for him while he's in his prime.

Not quite though. There's some speculation wherever he goes will only be on a short-term deal (2 years or so with another early opt out) so he can do the whole process over and get a long-term deal before he starts to decline.

People act like my beliefs are outlandish. Most media members, who I remind you have been in constant communication with execs from around the league, are surprised LBJ has taken this long.

What's so hard to understand?
Confusing!!!

The longer he holds out, the more attention he gets, the more speculation is done, etc, etc. It's all a ploy. What's so hard to understand?
SO it is a ploy, a plan, a strategy? So, he has a reason for doing it but you do not care about him or his reasons. You have your own selfish desires that you want him to align himself and his decision with.
Sorry...

Yall just wait till late October, he'll be in somebody's uniform...

If the decision is so easy, then why don't you tell us exactly what you think he should do? Who will be his teammates in this year? Who will be his teammates next year, and the years that follow? Who will be the coaches, and what sort of stability will they have? What are the team's plans over the length of his contract?
You don't even know what his motivations are. You don't know what his wife thinks or how much value he places on her desires. It is not LeBron James' problem that teams are holding out hope for him to sign with them. Do you think every contract offer he has received has been identical?
He should take as long as he needs to be comfortable with his decision. It's not like LeBron James owes anything to the NBA, any of its teams, the player's union or any other player. None of them are making their decisions based on what is the best interest of Lebron James. Only Lebron James is going to make decisions on that basis. And he has no obligation to act in the best interest of anyone else.
Why aren't you worried about Carmelo Anthony's decision? Won't his decision impact the decisions of all the teams and other free agents? He has had just as much time to prepare for the decision as James.

Melo isn't in the same category, but if you were around a few days ago, I most definitely called him out because he says he wants to win yet NY is not the place for that.
Chicago becomes an instant title contender with him there. He's going for max money, then worry about the rest later. Coward.
As for LeBron, he's had months to decide. He just likes being courted like an 18-year-old high school kid with major offers...hence why he hasn't learned much from the original decision that backfired on him

You're ignorant if you think he just woke up one day two weeks ago and just said "hey, I'm going to opt out"
When he signed the contract in 2010, he did so so he could get the most flexibility possible so if shite got rough in Miami he could flee without harm

Lebron learned from "The Decision" by not going on TV and embarrassing the city again. He will be able to explain himself better this time when he chooses to stay in Miami.
