Depends on the train of thought, you can just stop doing drugs or drinking or you can use it as a crutch and say its a disease.

It is a disease (and is defined as a disease), and whether you quit drinking or quit using you are an alcoholic or an addict for the rest of your life.

By who? A group of shrinks and rehab clinic owners who make good money off of "addicts"?

ETA: And I am not arguing that it is or isnt a disease, im just pointing out that it is called a disease by the people that treat it. Sort of like the people who push Global Warming also sell prius.

Not saying what she had wasn't real. Fibromyalgia just isn't real. She more likely had rheumatoid arthritis

If I'm terrible at basketball, I'm not heading to the gym for a random pickup game.

Just cause you're a fatty, doesn't mean you can wear anything you want. You need to dress appropriately for the lifestyle you chose (in this case eating everything in sight).

Many people do not understand why or how other people become addicted to drugs. It is often mistakenly assumed that drug abusers lack moral principles or willpower and that they could stop using drugs simply by choosing to change their behavior. In reality, drug addiction is a complex disease, and quitting takes more than good intentions or a strong will. In fact, because drugs change the brain in ways that foster compulsive drug abuse, quitting is difficult, even for those who are ready to do so.

A. Fibromyalgia is a real fricking disease. It is WAYY over diagnosed, but its real. Its over diagnosed on the level of ADD and ADHD. I know someone who actually has it, they are a thin, 30 year old guy. He sometimes can’t walk up the stairs because all of his joints hurt so bad he can’t breathe. He has accepted the fact he will be addicted to pain killers for the rest of his life. I agree though, just because you’re fat and your joints can’t handle the disgusting weight, does not mean you have Fibromyalgia.

B. Fatties are disgusting and 99% of them are self-inflicted fatties. It is pitiful people are trying to embrace being that unhealthy as any sort of beautiful. It is not. It is gross. I gain weight if I eat like shite and don’t exercise just like everyone else. If my pants start getting tight, I switch to salads and hit the gym a few more times that month and BOOM I’m back to normal. It is pure, unadulterated laziness. No telling how much money they drain our government for in healthcare expenses. And WHY THE frick can food stamps still buy crappy unhealthy food? Why do they get handicap tags for their vehicles so they can walk less?

ETA:

I don't ridicule fat people at the gym or ones that are working their arse to off to get healthier.

This piece of shite woman is bragging about being fat, bragging about eating a cake instead of a salad, bragging about how she looks in a bikini, and using a bullshite excuse like pregnancy and fibromyalgia to justify being 100 lbs over weight. She clearly doesn't WANT to be healthier. Even said doctors are unfair for telling her to diet and telling Jennifer Lawrence that weight isn't her issue. This chick is fricking crazy and its a shame she procreated.

I would disagree that it isnt real, but I would agree that it is WAY over diagnosed.

As fat as she is, you'd think she gets enough attention already.

her being fat is why other fatties call her brave. But if someone with any sort of celebrity would comment about the fat (she posted the pic as a fight back/you can't tell me what to do type angle) then the fat brigade would attack said person wondering why all they see is fat...although her being fat is only reason fatties support her. Someone could lose their job for pointinf out obvious

This chick wants attention for being obese and for continuing her disgusting lifestyle.

That cake salad pissed me off. I need to leave this thread.

many ppl burn 1-2k calories a day in exercise, and when you do you need calorie dense foods so they aren't unhealthy IMO.

In my opinion, if it fits your calorie and macro goals, then it is not a "bad" food

You are arguing just to argue at this point. Nothing I have said is inaccurate or disagrees with what you said.

Healthy food for someone trying to gain weight or had calorie requirements is going to be different from someone who needs massive weight loss.

Empty calories that aren't going to reach a person's macros should be considered unhealthy food. I know all about IIFYM

You are wrong. It is a disease, and since when does choosing or not choosing something qualify a disease as such? If someone willingly contracted HIV, they would still have a disease.

You are still spouting this shite off as if you actually believe it. Just stop.

That is a really terrible comparison. We can actually see the virus attacking the human body.
