Certainly, I agree with a good first stop being a general legalization of marijuana, and regulated in a similar fashion as tobacco and alcohol, including protections for children and allowing people to grow, unlicensed, for their own consumption.

Medical should be a no brainer - that can be fixed by the FDA tomorrow - by making it Schedule II - doctors can prescribe it everywhere if it is made available.
