I know Dupre is a big time talent for us this year, but I'm more excited about this young man than I am with Dupre. Johnson has good length that we need and will put on a lot size over the next year. He also has the big paws and break away speed like OBD and the dog in him that Juice had. Heard he was caught throwing up the Buga sign at the open. Hope we pull him.

Best WR reel I've seen in a while

This kid has the ability to be better than ODB, JUice and Malchai. This kid puts the X in explosive

I know, I don't like thinking about future players when we already have a stacked deck. But his highlights got me pumped and normally wide receiver highlights kind of bore me.

You might be more excited but to me Dupre is better and was a must get because of Jarvis and Odell leaving. Still want.

Dupre is going to be an impact this season. He is a ridiculous athlete and will pretty much go up and get everything.

Tyron looks like one of the shiftiest receivers in this class. Dude can change direction like nobody's business. Also looks like a very polished route runner.

Certain parts are, yes, but he still creates separation between himself and defender and is rarely tackled on first contact

Putting on that uniform right away makes you an even better badass than you were right before. I don't care who you are!

They're both potentially first rounders. Both have their talents and both (hopefully if Henry gets his shhhh together) we will land Tyron.

Seriously though why is no one questioning the recruiting skills of coach Henry? I love coach as much as anyone just don't get why we keep on anyone whose a weak recruiter. Guys from Beaumont, how'd he lose tony so bad? And personally I think coach wilson was the only reason we got Malachi. Ensinger why we got Washington and smith. Come on receiver coach we can't lose noil and have tech as Tyron's leader. Pathetic.

I totally agree with you on Adam Henry! They should team up Frank and Cam on him

What more could he or anyone on our staff have done to land tony brown?

Our pedigree with sending WRs to the league speaks for itself.

Tyron Johnson's film looking outstanding, even if parts of it were "sped up" as someone believed.

I wish fans would get over that Tony Brown business. I would much rather have Ed Paris, Jamal Adams, Kevin Tolliver, even John Battle--these DB's want to be Tigers and all have great football instincts. As we realize, there are many talented DB's on their way up the ranks for the Tigers.

Tony is a stud and we will be fine without him.

The point is our weak link on our coaching staff in recruiting is Henry. Everyone knows it. last season many of us including me were askin for coach studs head for the same reason and look at the result. Grimes is an awesome lineman recruiter and has the line clicking on all cyclinders. That said Henry's still a quality motivator and technician just a crappy recruiter

I think Tony knew he would have been behind White and Robinson. Saban promised him a starting spot, whereas he would have had to compete for 3rd or 4th corner at DBU.

No he didn't, and you don't pick Bama to dodge competition. Saban has "processed" more 4 star recruits than most teams get.

That being said, once his sister was cleared for track here, I thought for sure he was going to be a tiger. I have no idea how Saban got him to Bama.
