how far west of pensacola can you see the show? is the show over the gulf or bay?

we're thinking of going to johnson beach on the east end of perdido key, which would put us about 12 miles west of pensacola beach.

Are you wondering if you'll be able to see the
show from 12 miles away?

Don't waste your time trying to see the show from afar. Go on base, it's open to the public. It takes place behind the museum. Here's the schedule. LINK Johnson Beach is too far away. Then tour the museum after the show.

I wouldn't even attempt going on Saturday by automobile unless I was staying in the island.

Isn't there a place to rent sweet double decker party barges with slides for like $350 a day. You can watch from the water .

When my little ones are old enough, I want to do that.

The best place to watch the blues has always and will always be on a boat in Sabine Bay.
