Looks fantastic. My only complaint is the Lego look on top. How can you not cover that over so it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb?

Great pics and I think it will look pretty cool when full of people. Just now noticed one thing though for the first time and have not seen mentioned before. It looks like the folks in the upper southern corners of the east and west upper decks will not be able to see either video board. The fifth photo down is the best view of this. The poor saps sitting in that upper left corner of the west upper, for a good ways down too, will be looking at the back of the western video board and this will also block their view of the eastern video board. Kinda sucks for them.

Does anybody know if they are going to paint the legos? If so when? Gold, purple, white are obvious color choices.

Rumor I heard was that LSU is considering selling the naming rights to them to PODS and they will be painted to look like this:

Obviously, someone thought it looked good.
With so many "horizontal" architectural elements throughout the stadium, (rows of seating, beams, etc.), the "lego" boxes look out of place.
If they would add a horizontal roof-line across all of the boxes, I think it would look much better.
I would be willing that something similar to that happens at some point in the future.

Looks terrible. Why was there no attempt to tie into the beginning of the curve of the existing upper decks?

Because if you look closely see that they (east and west decks) do not align vertically (due the extra level of suites in west deck) so can not.
Think it looks fine engineering wise (CE class 79)!

I agree. I think it transitions nicely. But let's not forget this is the "rant" we are talking about.
