Let us know what you uncover. My first speed test at my office in BR was around 30mbps which is a little better than my 5s. At my house in Denham the speed isn't nearly as good but I'll run a test of the two phones.

ETA: Ok the last two I did at my office on my 5s were 23.56 and 22.44. The one test I did with my G3 was 28.04. Now at my house my 5s got 4.80 and my G3 got 1.36.

Sounds like I will be going M8 this September. I have a m7, so I know exactly what I'm getting. My rooted m7 is a beast.

Same here. I have no reason to upgrade right now.

I upgraded to the LG G3 from the HTC One M7 today. I love the phone. The resolution is obviously overkill but the display is still the best I've seen on a phone. I haven't noticed any lag, although I did get the model with 3gb of ram if that makes a difference.

The LG UI is also the closest to true Android I've ever seen outside of actual google devices.

I have Sprint so I have always have slow data issues. I'm in the Dallas area and was getting around 5mb download speeds. Obviously not good but about what was getting on my HTC One as well.

Slow data in Denham is my only real issue so far. I need to test it in BR where the service is better. If it's fine there then it won't be a big issue as I use my wifi at home anyway. Other than that this phone is one of the best that I've had and I use most flagships at some point.

Wish I could help you but with me being on Sprint's network everything is always slow.

Just finished talking to them...Apparently i'm at 7.3gb of data with a week left on my billing cycle..Just a coincidence I assume with realizing it the day I get the g3.

The only lag I have seen is when you go into a text convo from the popup but it isn't bad at all, the first time I went into the app drawer, and sometimes an app with stutter when I'm scrolling but it isn't often and that's pretty normal my 5s and iPad Air do it too. Other than that the phone is very fluid.

Here's an in app purchase hack. Like on ios it won't work for all apps.

LINK

ETA: Johnny have you had issues like this with nova when you have a lot of apps in a folder?
