The Baby Boomers had so much potential but they chose to worship at the altar of greed, unsustainable consumerism and keeping up with the Joneses. The very thing they derided their parent's generation for. They pissed away a lot of potential and are the creators of the political divide we see in this country today.

What you youngsters apparently are unable to comprehend is that the boomer generation began with births in 1946 and lasted until 1964.
The voting age was 21 until adoption of the 26th Amendment on July 1, 1971, giving 18 year olds the right to vote.
The earliest baby boomers couldn't vote until 1967, and 18 year olds didn't have the right to vote until 1971.
The damage was done well before 1967.
