Do you have the new model with the raised hatches? I have an older model with the flush hatches and it gets some water from there. Was the water rough and coming over the top of the bow?
As far as the new 128t, it's internally wired and has the 360 seat and more storage. It's worth it imo.
They are a bit heavy but I use the wheels and a truck bed extender. Price of cake in and out solo.
