Happened on my old street. Just moved from there 6 months ago. Sad... There were a lot of kids in that age range on that street. Prayers for the victim and the family.

The victim's family and friends have my thoughts and prayers.
RIP to an innocent child.

Prayers to all involved.
Ashamed as I am to admit this, I think I should share a recent story to advise any other parents.
I was at a friends pool the other day with my 3 year old. Her float vest was bothering her so I had let her take it off since she only had her feet in the water sitting on the edge, ontop of the steps. 8 of us were all siting around in a circle, 1/2 of the people facing the pool and within 2 feet of her. No one was drinking.
She fell in and not a single person heard her fall in or actually saw her fall. I happen to look over and saw her under water in desperation and jumped in. She was only about 2 inches from the top so she must have just fallen in and was ok, but still.... It can happen so fast and I will never forget that look she had on her face. All parents, please be careful around the pool and require your kids to wear their floaties the entire time. I do not know how I could live with myself if she had been in any longer with all of us just feet away. I was an idiot and will never make a mistake like that again.

I can't even imagine what that family is going through and my prayers are with them. I know sometimes this goes overlooked but please pray for the first responders that work these types of calls. I know the guys that responded last night and it definitely affects them. Tragic situation.
