That was the point.

Well, let me tell you something, funny boy. Y'know that little stamp, the one that says "New York Public Library"? Well that may not mean anything to you, but that means a lot to me. One whole hell of a lot.

Sure, go ahead, laugh if you want to. I've seen your type before:Flashy, making the scene, flaunting convention. Yeah, I know what you're
thinking. What's this guy making such a big stink about old library books? Well, let me give you a hint, junior. Maybe we can live without libraries, people like you and me. Maybe. Sure, we're too old to change the world, but what about that kid, sitting down, opening a book, right now, in a branch at the local library and finding drawings of pee-pees and wee-wees on the Cat in the Hat and the Five Chinese Brothers?

Doesn't HE deserve better? Look. If you think this is about overdue fines and missing books, you'd better think again. This is about that kid's right to read a book without getting his mind warped! Or: maybe that turns you on, Seinfeld; maybe that's how y'get your kicks. You and your good-time buddies. Well I got a flash for ya, joy-boy: Party time is over. Y'got seven days, Seinfeld. That is one week!

I saw a commentary where Jerry said that was one of his favorite characters/scenes. if you go back and watch, he's trying his hardest not to crack up at that Bookman speech.

That episode makes me laugh out loud every time, mostly because of Bookman.

I love when he catches Kramer and the librarian in the library after closing hours -- "I remember when the librarian was a homely gal; we didn't know anything about her personal life, we didn't want to know anything about her personal life."

My favorite scene ever is when Kramer impersonates a cop in the episode The Statue in order to get Jerry's statue back:

We've all been here.

While were at it, I've still never seen the English Patient because of this show.

My favorite scene is Kramer describing himself riding the bus to reattach the pinky toe

The best part of that scene is when George interrupts him and exclaims "you're Batman!" to which Kramer cooly responds "yeah, yeah I am Batman."

that's great

There was one episode where they tried to be FWBs.

Because they had a history and were bf/gf before the show started. But yes, they tried to have "this" and "that" but it didn't work out.

Right at the end of the story when he grabs in his pocket and pulls out the ball, there's one woman in the audience that apparently sees it before anyone else does because she has this really high pitched, almost scream of a laugh. That always gets me, you can clearly hear her lone laugh before anyone else, then the rest of the audience joins in.

Kramer goes to a Fantasy camp? His whole life is a fantasy camp! People should plunk down $2,000 to live like him for a week. Do nothing, fall arse backwards in the money, mooch food off your neighbors and have sex without dating; now that's a fantasy camp.

A tv fanatic friend is telling me that for the most part, Seinfeld & Kelly made most of the money off the show, at least till the last season or two & syndication, when the whole cast started making a LOT of money. True or false?
