Yeah, the 1-0 wins were not thrilling, but it felt like they would not lose. The loss to Switzerland was almost flukish. It would have been like the US beating Belgium. Spain dominated that game and every single one.

I am not usually a big defender of them, but peak Spain was very tough to beat.

4-0 over any team that has Ronaldo is massive. You cannot fault Germany for playing against a 10 man team.

It was boring as frick. I still can't believe how negative and cynical Holland played that final.

Robben should have won that match.

I don't think anyone disagrees with this part. The part we differ on is the "dominance" of their WC run. Possession alone does not make a team dominant. Hell, Brazil had 51% of possession today.

Tough to beat and dominating are very different things.
