Bocanegra did well at Fulham and Rangers. So shitty that he's at Chivas USA. Hopefully he can get to somewhere else in MLS before he retires. Edu did well at Rangers as well.
Gooch spent time at Newcastle, AC Milan, Malaga.
Really right now we're in a transition period where our older players' best days are behind them and they're back in MLS for the most part, and most players younger than them, haven't really reached their prime yet.

wonder how long before we start seeing a core group of our players reach levels where they are considered to be some of the elite players in the world. Tim Howard must be there right now as far as goalies go.

Beasley had a good run before injuries and the occasional racist car bombing in Scotland caught up to him.
John Harkes was a pretty big deal with Sheffield Wednesday in the 90s.
Clint Mathis would do Clint things in MLS, get signed by a Euro club, immediately show up and do more Clint things. Then he'd start acting like Clint, and they'd release him, and he'd go back to MLS, do more Clint things, go to Europe, do Clint things, get released, do some MLS Clint things, go back to Europe and do some more Clint things and so on.
