I'm sure there are many Native Americans who do not care, but then again I am sure there are many who do care.
"Redskin" was never a racial slur. It was always a term of endearment or pride in the Native American community. The team name came from Native Americans who played on the team!
They have done poll after poll of Native Americans and the vast majority are not offended in any of them. The only people offended by this are PC white people who are trying to be offended for other people.
