Again, who gives a frick. His stats don't lie. So he had a bad game or two. Last time I checked, we play 16 regular season games. And he was a focal point of the offense and still balled out 90% of the time. Wait and see what he does now that more youth and speed are injected into this offense.

Okay, and out of the 16 games he will dominate, no one is denying that.

When it comes down to it, you're against the Seahawks in the NFC championship. Would you rather him @12mil cost or say Brandon Marshall @12mil.

We all see the stats, but they're against linebackers and safeties. NE demolished him with a physical CB in Talib and seattle showed they didn't even need to use sherman when they put an athletic coverage LB on him (KJ Wright) and their safety tandem to toy with him.

Someone had it in the other thread, his #s against CBs are VASTLY different from the #s against LBs/Safeties. He's good, but its a damn chess piece, just like how Sproles was in his first year.

Its like you forget this is a copycat league for defenses as well.

This offense doesn't NEED him to succeed, but he surely does a hell of a job, no one denies that. But at the end of the day, if you're giving me Jimmy Graham @12mil or a potential blueprint #1 WR like Watkins, I'll take Watkins. I've seen jimmy alligator arm enough balls to know at a certain point he shys away from getting hit, especially after the pretzel from SF. You've never seen that with Colston.
