And some of you forget before jimmy graham, we were still a potent offense because of the guy under the headset calling these mismatches with a QB that can execute it.

We may not have a perfect mismatch for safeties and linebackers, but Colston in his 'prime' was doing that before Jimmy came along.

Who gives a shite what we did before he came around, or before colston, or before stills, or anyone. I'm talking about keeping a dynamic player that makes our system that much better. Hell, since it's just Payton that makes this offense what it is, just cut everyone and sign up a bunch of FA nobody's. The guy under the headset will make all well.

I'm with you. We can't get rid of a guy that only a handful of teams can match up with.

Let's not forget the guy was dealing with an foot injury for half the season and still put up monster numbers. So he got shut down by the Seattle defense. Well, so did one of the most prolific offenses ever in the Super Bowl.

I hope Graham takes the team's offer and let's move on. If he wants to hold out for the $12.3M, that's going to be tough to handle.

Only a fool would want to get rid of him. If you don't have a choice, that's a whole other matter.

ETA: Just read a Forbes article and it said that Payton testified in the arbitration case. Allegedly, Payton broke down his schemes that favored LB coverage on Graham and that testimony was a vital part of the outcome.
